  • Behavior and response to loss of orientation.
  • Orientation as a function of the diving group.
  • Orientation on night dives, if possible.

Practical part
Number of dives: 4.

The dives can be done by land or by boat. It will take only a short time (about 15 minutes) to enhance the learning effect by frequency. The first dives are intended to be carried out without technical guidance and to remember the natural conditions. Subsequent dives should include exercises for orientation.

It should be practiced as follows:

  • Maintaining a predetermined course.
  • Finding the entry point.
  • Compass orientation without visual contact with ground water.
  • Orientation through the entire diving group with responsibility for each course participant.

Performance review
The instructor determines whether the candidate has reached the respective target price. This is done in the theoretical part in the form of educational talks and in the practical part of targeted surveillance.

Certification
Evidence of successful participation in the TDA are a SPECIALTY Specialty certification and a certificate.

By separate consideration of the individual basic elements of the leadership group, the most important relationships in this complex area are highlighted. Likewise, the interaction of these elements within groups are represented. The participants should be able to show coverage in the implementation of dives as a group leader security and peace, and make sure to act and perform dives in the results can be completed safely. • Orientation as a security element.
  • Role in the orientation of the leadership group.
  • Tasks of the security group on shore or on board.
  • Perform dive lists.

Practical part
Four practical modules

The dives are to support a specific theory and practical exercises provide the applicant an opportunity to apply them under supervision. The dives are in 3’s, to be performed a maximum of 4 groups (depending on the visibility under water). In each group of divers is an experienced assistant informed yourself, as observers moderates the advantages and debriefing, so that the dive is well prepared and analyzed at the dive experiences from a neutral point of view and put into effect the highest possible recognition. And groups are small tasks provided for all dives from the diving practice, to be solved, reacting to the theory of learned into practice to practice.
For each dive, a backup set is divided in order to practice this task all the time.

There are the following aspects of group leadership are practiced:

  • Organization of the diving group.
  • Implementation of the briefings.
  • Learn how responsibility can be worn for a group.
  • Getting to know the behavior with which groups can be conducted.
  • Observe the group in the water.
  • Record of transactions within the group while diving.
  • Learning, even small events to give the necessary attention.
  • Meetings, communicating and reacting fast decisions in the name of security.
  • Response operations during a dive at the debriefing.

In debriefing the dive ended with the presentation of the wizard is analyzed. Particular attention is given to the points that were discussed in theory and should be deepened through the practice. Particularly important is the aspect that should be encouraged to each participant, no inhibitions to explain his view of things. This approach helps all group members as feedback for behavior, actions, reactions during dives with the aim to learn from it.

Performance review
The instructor notes along with the wizard, if the candidate has reached the respective target price. This is done in the theoretical part in the form of educational talks and in the practical part, by analysis of dives in relation to the implementation of the learning content. By varying the composition of the groups at the various dive dives with changing participants and assistants, and changing group leadership to achieve an objective assessment.

Certification
Evidence of successful participation in the TDA are a SPECIALTY Specialty certification and a certificate.
